What can I say to You, my Lord
After everything that you have done for me?
Should I write a thousand lines
In language so sublime
And publish them so everyone can see?
What can I do for You, my Lord
Since you injected life into my bones?
Should I build a church so grand
Made with my own hand
And cover it with gold and precious stones?
Everything I do seems so small,
Insignificant next to all you’ve done for me.
Even if I gave up my all,
It would be a teardrop cast into the sea.
So I guess there’s only one course to take.
It seems there’s only one thing to do.
I tell you from deep in my heart
Thank you.
What can I think of You, my Lord
You love me like a son though I betray You everyday
My mind starts to bend
When I try to comprehend
A God who is the Life, the Truth, the Way
